Finally a legitimate planner that caters to the writing craft. And it's so aesthetically cute too! I love a planner and have been looking for one that can help me set and keep my writing goals but they are always very vague and set up for general goal-setting and motivation. But this journal is very well thought out and made specifically for people on a writing journey. I love it and have been really enjoying filling it out and organizing all of my thoughts. What I really appreciate too is the introspective pages that help you find your most productive and inspiring writing locations/routines. That kind of awareness is so beneficial to the process.
I love all the details that went into this planner, from inspiring quotes and prompts that help you get, not just your writing goals, but your life goals, on track, to monthly overviews and weekly reviews. The word count sections are super helpful and having my goals written down on paper really helps me stay accountable. With my digital planner, I move things around, pushing things further down my schedule, erasing what was there before, and with this, I can't do that. I can see exactly how far behind I am and figure out how to correct it or reevaluate. I'm excited that this will also eventually be a keepsake for me, of my writing journey, that I'll be able to look back on years from now and see how my process and life has changed.
I have *really* enjoyed using this planner. As a writer who is not used to analog planning and relies mostly on cal invites, tracker spreadsheets, post-its and half finished paper journals, I was at first skeptical if these templates could address all I needed & if I could get used to adjusting dates etc in paper & pen. However, I have really enjoyed the ritual and rigor that it’s brought to my writing routine. I am trying to finish my novel revision this quarter and I think using this daily iis keeping me accountable but also supporting creative spirit with things like reminders for gratitude & ofc the adorable stickers! It’s also a beautiful design made from premium materials— a tangible reminder that our creative practices are worth honoring … & planning for!
I received a beautiful planner that tracks your writing and helps you plan all your writerly tasks, from social media to querying. It keeps you on track and inspired.
I would especially like to note that the quality of this planner is excellent. It is thick, soft, and sturdy. It feels like a book, honestly. I’ve never owned a planner with this kind of quality. The planner also comes with adorable stickers. It allows you to express yourself in so many different ways.
Not let’s talk inside the planner. The inside is packed with tips, tricks, prompts, daily agendas, monthly and weekly agendas, and even some inspiring quotes and methods from other authors and their writing techniques. It’s pretty impressive how motivating this planner is; as soon as I opened it, I knew that I wanted to use it all the time and that it would keep me on track. There were so many elements to the planner that are very useful to my everyday writing life, personal life, and content creation.
Not only is the Word x Word planner awesome to look at (it has stickers!) It takes into account everything that being a writer is about and we're about more than just words. We have lives too.
